This is a tough one, but I'd say WarCraft.

And the runner up would be SC. However, maybe after playing SC2 I'll change my mind. Diablo was also pretty successful, before WoW came out, a lot of Blizz fans were still playing that. And the Diablo market is still fairly strong, you still see people buying and sell in game items.
