The first thing that stuck out for me was the Vespene geyser right next to the minerals. This is definitely a resource - and I'm betting it IS Blizzard's answer to blue Tiberium.

Without any doubts, the yellow crystals are definitely a type of resource. That's for me to see the sure answer and for you to find out.

I'm completly guessing here but maybe its a type of resource used on a Xel-Naga planet...

I think they are just worth more crystal than the blue ones
