Notice where the marines are, there are these other Protoss units (they are uncolored, default blue), and they seem to be doing melee attacks to the marines? There are Soul Hunters there which are blue as well, but look near the marines. There seem to be a different unit there.

The psionic blades look rough, kind of like claws! They look like Templars maybe, but why would they be doing Melee attacks? Could this be a Zerg / Protoss hybrid?

Also, check out the twin cannon Terran units!

Yeah.
Maybe blizzard are even considering introducing some kind of WC3-style mercenary units to the game. But It goes against SC's spirit, and is hella unlikely.
The unit is clearly not something that wes shown in screenies or videos we've seen earlier....

Could be the Dark Templars.

Aside from that, notice the weird Terran units the Soul Hunter is attacking.

Note, that I am replying to the last poster, but I'm also refuting my argument that there was a hybrid in that first shot I posted. I think it is a DT. It is blue because it wasn't implemented yet.

Even after all Blizzcon info , I haven't noticed an answer to that.

If I'm not mistaken, those are Dark Templar. The double-scythes give it away. One of them is cloaked and appears faded, while the other two are uncloaked (they are probably dying, so they lose their cloak).

Yes it is the dark templar. I had the opportunity to play with them at blizzcon. Originally, i thought the concept art for the unit was a hybrid unit itself.

With the zerg-like armor designs and lower jaw, mixed with the protoss scales and psi blade it appeared at first to be a hybrid. I embarrassingly inquired about this artwork at the sc2 panel, where it revealed otherwise.
