Its true, when I play SC I use zerglings all the time. If you have apartner and you upgrade them you don't even have to build other units (except for anti air, but your partner should cover that) they are extremely lethal and you can make large numbers of them.

Everything is balanced.

I think zerglings are gonna be an even higher priority for any zerg player now. In the original SC, they were powerful, but the UI hated zerg players and made it impossibly hard to use masses of units. With SC2's "limitless" teams, zerglings will be much easier to use, and with their new ability to change into banelings, more versatile to just suicide when an attack fails.
